The National Shrine of the Little Flower Council is a parish council that resides within the National Shrine of the Little Flower Church in Royal Oak, Michigan on Twelve Mile Road. The council meets 7:30 PM every second and fourth Tuesday of the month in the Conference Center.

The National Shrine of the Little Flower Council was chartered in March of 1999 through the efforts of Bill Wagoner (P.G.K.), Carl Gildner, Richard Tschirhart (Field Agent, P.G.K.), and Past State Deputy Tony Kulka.

The council is named after the host parish, that was declared a National Shrine by the United States Bishops’ Conference in 1998. Council 12408 works closely with The National Shrine of the Little Flower Parish in Royal Oak, providing assistance for various projects, with members being active participants in their parish. The National Shrine of the Little Flower Council is supported by the Color Guard from Bishop Gallagher Assembly #0482 in Clawson, MI.
