Ladies Supplement Blue Mass…..…………………..………February 26th
The annual Blue Mass is fast approaching and this year we will be serving a pot luck luncheon for the Police and Fire Departments. We are looking for 15-20 dishes to serve. Sweatshirts For Kids…December 10th and 13th.
A very special thank you goes out to all the people who helped wrap sweatshirts. Thanks to your efforts more than 200 sweatshirts were delivered to Holy Cross Children’s Service near Clinton, Michigan on December 17th.
Holy Cross Children’s Services Silent Auction…at the Annual State Convention on Mackinac Island…...
Every year councils throughout the State donate baskets of some kind to be auctioned off during the weekend at Mackinac. This year our council would like to have a basket donated for auction. If you have any catchy ideas for a theme for our basket please let Pat Iannotti know your thoughts. We will pick the best idea and do a basket based on the theme chosen. Friday Fish Fry’s…..……January 20th / February 17th.
Don’t forget the monthly fish fry’s at the Clawson Council. Dinner is served from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm. Adults $8 seniors $7 and Children $4.50. The men work hard in the kitchen and portions of the proceeds are returned to the council. If you can not help, come out and bring a neighbor, family member, or friend for a great dinner.
Annual Vocations Dinner……………….Friday January 13th.
This dinner is held to honor our Priests, Sisters, Deacons, Seminarians and other Religious in our Parishes. The cost is $7 a plate and will be held at the Fr. Lynch council in Clawson beginning at 7pm. Come out and enjoy a down home cooked comfort food dinner.
Monstrance visitation from Rome. ……………January 11th - January 15th.
A Monstrance that was blessed by Pope John II will be on tour at the National Shrine of the Little Flower Church from 5pm January 11th till 11am January 12th. There will be an overnight vigil at the Church and Color Corp. from 5 different 4th Degree Assemblies will be standing in Honor throughout the night. If you can donate beverages or snacks for the Color Corp. members please call Pat Iannotti as soon as possible. We don’t want our men to fall asleep or go hungry.

Lastly, I would like to thank Matt and Dawn Kennedy for putting together a wonderful Christmas Party for the Children of the council on December 13th. It was great success and a fun time was had by all. Thanks again.
